Dadoo lets Evan get muddy -- all over!

So far the lack of Prevacid for a full week seems to be working for Evan; we are very pleased about that and hope we are in the clear. Mike was in San Antonio last week and that was after a long week of work before the trip so he was ready for some quality time with Evan this weekend.

So while mama was off on a group mountain bike ride this morning, dadoo and Evan had some serious fun in the backyard! Recently "we" decided to move a five-year old maple tree about five feet from where we planted it. No easy task and I did not help as it was a serious power job. Evan has been very interested in the partially filled, muddy hole out in the lawn. It rained all day Friday so there was plenty of murky water and Evan loves puddles, splashing and moving water from one place to another (it can be very hard to get him out of the bath most nights). Since it was such a sunny morning dad decided to strip off Evan's clothes and let him do what he wanted in the mud and water. The main activity was taking water from the hole and putting it in the white bucket.

The pictures that clearly show Evan fell face first into the mud pit at some point in the fun (we have a very funny video that is too large for Blogger to load, Mike will work on that soon and I will let you know when it is up). Dadoo had to drag Evan out of the yard to bathe him so he could take his nap. Mike is an awesome dad. I am so proud of how he loves Evan so fully every day.
